Which AntiVirus Software would be good ?

I need an antivirus software to run locally for the computer and not the internet security antivirus software.

Few days back i got a virus into the system and the tools%26gt;Floder options has vanished from the windows explorer.

Tried to install the free bee's to fix - did not help.

I have windows xp.

Please advise which antivirus should be good

nortron - mcafee - panda or anything else ?

thanks a million.

Which AntiVirus Software would be good ?norton antivirus 2007

they all offer the same thing. i have vista on my laptop and my desktop and on my laptop i have norton and the desktop mcafee. i'd choose mcafee though since it is easer to use. they are also different prices but, they came free with my computers. my desktop is 3 months old and the laptop is one day.

Norton is the best but uses more resources. AVG is a reasonably good option.
You can download free antivirus software from here http://www.kaspersky.com.au/download.asp...

This antivirus application has good virus detection rate but it uses more computer resources and so it makes your system bit slower.

Try nod32 antivirus, you can download this application from here http://www.eset.com/download/index.php, it is good as well as uses low system resouce and runs very smotthly. But it is a paid application.
