Viruses in the Quarantine will free and re-infect the computer if we uninstall the antivirus? Aren&#

I wonder about this. There's one time when my friend uninstall his norton due to expired subcription. What happen is that, during Norton uninstallation in progress, Norton itself suddenly has detected W32.Rajump !!! Where the hell is this god damn virus come from?

There's no internet connection and usb drive plug in. From the Quarantine? Again, his Norton uninstallation proses fail to complete and still in the computer but it cant remove the virus. Unfortunately!!!

Suddenly his computer getting slowly and sluggish, finally get freeze. When we restart the computer again, startup time is pretty long and it freeze again.

There's is nothing on the dekstop, mouse cursor also freeze. Finally, we sent it to the computer service to check. They said, RAM is damaged and need to be replace. As far as i concern, RAM is a hardware and impossible virus can ruin it. M i right to correct?

Go back to my question, is that virus come from Quarantine?

Viruses in the Quarantine will free and re-infect the computer if we uninstall the antivirus? Aren't they?aurora

You should always delete quarantined files as its better to take no risk that the file might replicate itself after the AV is uninstalled.

Best thing now is to either start your computer in safe mode and install another AV like AVG or Ewidos. If you have an internet connection you should scan your system here: www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveSca...
